Experimental Aerospace Engineer
& Squadron Commander

San Fransisco, California

How do you build aircraft with only scrap you can find on an Arctic oil field operation?

Can you build it repeatably, reliably, and survey 1.98 billion acres at -40°C within 5 years?

Have you crashed a UAV more times than you have fingers?

Are you ruthless about requirements? How fast can you put an idea to rest?

Do you do hard things, not because you thought they'd be easy, but because you knew they'd be hard?

Mission

Mithras is developing an experimental autonomous system to supply resource targets to mining, geothermal, and other subsurface industries within the next 5 years. This means $12 trillion of minerals, 700 million tons of copper concentrate, enough H2 to replace 5.4 trillion cubic meters of natural gas. In other words, we want to deliver on the promise of electrification, kill an oil & gas company, and build a platform that can assist in moonshot interventions to stabilize climate systems.

The Experimental Aerospace Engineer will develop the core autonomous system to guide trillion dollar industries.
